Description

ROYAL CANIN® URINARY S/O Mousse is a complete dietetic food for cats for the dissolution of struvite stones and the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. It has urine-unsaturating or metastabilising properties with respect to struvite and/or urine-acidifying properties.

Idiopathic cystitis

The high moisture content of this wet food supports urine dilution in cats with idiopathic or recurrent cystitis (bladder inflammation).

Dissolution of struvite

The nutrient blend contained in this recipe helps to dissolve struvite crystals and stones that may form in the bladder.

Low RSS value

This recipe has a low RSS value (relative supersaturation). This reduces the ion concentration and helps prevent the possible formation of urinary stones.

Urine dilution

This food dilutes your cat's urine, making it more difficult for struvite and calcium oxalate stones to form.

S/O Index

Royal Canin® Urinary S/O also creates a urinary environment that makes it more difficult for struvite and calcium oxalate stones to form.

Important note

This product is a veterinary diet from the Veterinary Health Nutrition range by Royal Canin®. It is therefore important that this food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinary surgeon. This helps ensure that your pet receives exactly the food it needs. Any change of food should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. Suitable for mixed feeding
To meet the individual preferences of all cats, Royal Canin® Urinary S/O wet food is also available with chunks in gravy or as a dry food with crunchy kibbles.* Mixed feeding provides different textures, which can stimulate appetite. Wet food has a more intense aroma and its moisture content helps to regulate your pet's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to portion and is good for the teeth.
