Description
The Ardap Spot-on for ornamental birds and racing pigeons is applied externally and reliably protects the animal against ticks and mites. Enriched with pyrethrum from chrysanthemum, it offers protection for up to 4 weeks.
Application:
- The application should only be performed after the first moult.
- The spot-on is applied to the animal's skin using a pipette.
- Twist off the tube cap and pierce the seal using the reverse side.
- Transfer the contents of the tube into a small container and use the pipette to draw up the product.
- Part the animal's feathers and apply the spot-on drop by drop directly to the skin on the neck. You can also apply the spot-on with a cotton swab.
Dosage Recommendation:
- Ornamental birds: 1 drop on the neck
- Racing pigeons and parrots: 1 - 2 drops on the neck
Notes:
- Do not use on young animals under 3 months.
- Do not use on sick or convalescent animals.
- Animals with skin lesions, especially at the intended application sites, should not be treated with this spot-on.
- Itching may temporarily occur at the site where the spot-on was applied.
- Occasionally, feather loss or blistering at the application site has been observed.
- The solvent in ARDAP spot-on can damage certain materials, such as leather, fabrics, plastics, or polished surfaces. The application site should be dried before contact with such materials.
- In cases of hypersensitivity to the solvent, short-term allergic reactions may occur occasionally.
