Description

ROYAL CANIN® URINARY S/O Morsels in Gravy is a complete dietetic feed for cats for the dissolution of struvite stones and the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. It has urine undersaturating or metastabilising properties in relation to struvite and/or urine acidifying properties.

Idiopathic cystitis

The high moisture content of this wet food promotes urine dilution in cats with idiopathic or recurrent cystitis (inflammation of the bladder).

Struvite dissolution

The nutrient blend in this formula helps to dissolve struvite crystals and stones that can form in the bladder.

Low RSS

This formula has a low RSS value (relative supersaturation). This reduces the ion concentration and helps prevent the formation of urinary stones.

Urine dilution

This food dilutes your cat's urine, making it more difficult for struvite and calcium oxalate stones to form.

Royal Canin® Urinary S/O also creates a urinary environment that makes it difficult for struvite and calcium oxalate stones to form.

Important note

This product is a veterinary diet from the Royal Canin® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. Therefore, it is important that the food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinarian. This ensures that your pet receives exactly the nutrition they really need. A change in diet should be carried out carefully and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. Ensure the correct portion size, especially when mixed feeding.

Mixed feeding possible
To cater to the individual preferences of all cats, Royal Canin® Urinary S/O wet food is also available with a soft mousse texture or as a dry food with crunchy kibble.* Mixed feeding provides the food with different textures, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense aroma and its moisture content helps to regulate the pet's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to consume and is good for the teeth.
